Way 1: Reset Two-Step Verification PIN With Email Address
If you have given an email address while setting up two-step verification then you can easily reset the PIN by requesting a reset link.
Here learn the steps to reset PIN.
Step 1: Run the WhatsApp app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Then hit on Forgot PIN? > Send Email.
Step 3: Now, you will receive a reset link to the email address that you have provided while enabling two-step verification.
Step 4: In the email, follow the reset link and hit CONFIRM.
Step 5: Launch WhatsApp and then tap on Forgot PIN? > Reset.
Note: Uninstall or reinstalling WhatsApp will not reset or disable the PIN for Two-Step Verification.
Way 2: Reset Two-Step Verification PIN Without An Email Address
If you want to reset the WhatsApp two-step verification password without email or you forgot the PIN and wish to reset it or if somebody has set up the two-step verification before you use this number. In all these 3 cases, you need to wait for 7 days to reset the PIN.
Once the 7 days are completed, launch WhatsApp app. Then hit on Forgot PIN? > Reset.
Note: We don’t have any option to speed up the 7-day timeframe or you can disable your account after 2 step verification is enabled. Your two-step verification PIN is different from the six-digit registration code that you receive through SMS or phone call.
