In addition, the tool offers you to download your iCloud backups. These two functions are free.
Part 1.1: Backup iPhone, iPad Or iPod Touch
iPhone Backup & Restore software offers you to entirely or selectively backup your iOS device. Backing up entire data will keep your all data and settings safe, on the other hand selectively backing up messages, contacts, WeChat and WhatsApp will make this method very fast and save your time. If you will backup data from iPhone Backup & Restore software doesn’t erase your local iTunes backup or another related backups.
Before restarting the process, you need to download and launch iPhne Data Backup & Restore software on your computer.
Step 1: Select Acquire Backup from Device & iCloud and hit on “Backup Device”.
Step 2: Now, connect your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch to your computer. Then trust the computer on your phone, the software will detect it by itself. Make sure your devices is connected during the whole process. On the right side of the window, you will find two options. First is “Make a Full Backup” and another is “Select One or More Data Types”. Choose one option which you want. The software also allows you to choose the path of your backup files if you want to.
Step 3: Now, begin the backup process by clicking on “Back Up” button. When the backing process gets completed, you will receive a message saying that your selected data has been backed up. You can see and transfer backed up data or restore them to your device when you need them.
Part 1.2: Download Several iCloud Backup

Step 1: Select Acquire Backup from Device & iCloud and then hit on Download iCloud Backup.
Step 2: Next, you need to login to your iCloud account. Don’t need to worry as the program never keep your Apple account details.
Step 3: When you successfully logged in, you will see all the backed up files with date and time in your iCloud account. Select the backup file from which you want to restore data and then click on “Next” button to download the iCloud backup file.
Step 4: Once the downloading process gets finished, you will see a message that informs you about this. If you want to download other iCloud backup files then you can download it.
Part 2: Export Data From Device & Backup
iPhone Backup & Restore software offers Export from Device & Backup feature which helps you to export data from iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and iCloud backup/iTunes backup or backups made via iPhone Backup & Restore tool to your computer. Below discussed steps will help you to export data from your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch or from backups.
Part 2.1: Export Data From iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch
Before you start, download, install and launch iPhone Backup & Restore Tool on your computer. Then using USB cable connect your iOS device to your computer. Now follow the below steps export data from iDevice.
Step 1: Select Export from Device & Backup and click on Export from Device.
Step 2: Now, select the data types that you want to export, after that click on “Scan” button to your device.
Step 3: When the process gets completed, you can view the data types and choose the data which you want to export. Next, click on “Export” and select a format and place on your computer where you like to export data.
Part 2.2: Export Data From Backup Made By Software or From iCloud/iTunes Backup
Step 1: Once you launched iPhone Backup & Restore program, you need to choose Export from Device & Backup on the left panel and hit on Export from Backup.
After that, you will find all the backup files list including contacts, SMS, WeChat and WhatsApp backup and entire backups made via iPhone Backup & Restore tool and also from iCloud backup/iTunes backup. Choose one backup file which you want to export and hit on “Next” button.
Step 2: Now, select the data types that you need to transfer from backup. You can choose one type, multiple types or entire data types on the screen. After that click on “Scan” button.
Step 3: The software will start scanning the selected backup file. When the scanning process gets completed, you will see the details of the selected backup file. Now, select one data type or multiple data types that you need to export and hit on “Export”. After that choose the format and place on your computer where you want to export the selected data types.
Step 4: After a few minutes, you will find that the selected data types will be transferred from backup to your computer. Now you can view the data and use it.
Note: If your iTunes backup is protected then you need to enter your password.
Part 3: Restore Backup To Device
Launch iPhone Data Backup & Restore software to your computer and select Restore Backup to Device option from the left panel. Now, you will find a list of your all backups on the computer screen inclusion iCloud/iTunes backup (only if you have downloaded them via software) and backups made via iPhone Backup & Restore software (only if you have download them using this software).
Part 3.1: Restore Full Backup of iTunes or Backup Made By Software
You can restore entire data and settings or only selected data from an iTunes backup or entire backup made through iPhone Backup & Restore software. Below, follow the steps to do the same.
Part 3.1.1: Restore All Data And Settings From The Backup
Step 1: Select an iTunes backup or entire backup made through iPhone Backup & Restore tool from the given list and hit on “Next”. Now, you will get two options on the screen. One is Restore Full Backup and another is Restore Partial Backup. Here click on Restore Full Backup.
Step 2: Next, in the left column you will find a note, read it. Then connect your device to your computer and turn this computer on your phone. Now, you can choose Preview & Restore option or Directly Restore option and continue. If you select Preview & Restore option then follow Step 3 or if you select Directly Restore option then leave Step 3 and directly go to Step 4.
Step 3: When the data scanning process gets completed then you can view them. After that hit on “Restore” button.
Step 4: Next, you need to select one option from Merge & Replace or Fully Replace. If you choose Merge & Replace option then it will mix SMS, WeChat, contacts and WhatsApp in the backup with the related data on your device, but the other data will be erased. And if you select Fully Replace option then entire data and settings from your device will be replaced through backup data.
Step 5: Once the restoring process gets finished, you can see and use the data that you have just restored to your device.
Part 3.1.2: Restore Partial Data From Backup
Step 1: Once you selected an iTunes backup or entire backup made via iPhone Backup & Restore program, you need to click on “Next” button to select Restore Partial Backup.
Step 2: Now, select one or multiple data types including SMS, WeChat, WhatsApp and contacts. Make sure that your device and computer are connected during the whole process.
Note: iPhone Backup & Restore software will supports more file types very soon.
Next, select Preview & Restore or Directly Restore. If you select Preview & Restore option then follow Step 3 or if you select Directly Restore option then leave Step 3 and directly go to Step 4.
Step 3: When the data scanning process gets completed then you can view them. After that hit on “Restore” button.
Step 4: Next, you need to select one option from Merge or Replace. If you choose Merge option then it will mix selected data with your device data. And if you select Replace option then the corresponding device data will be replaced.
Step 5: The software will begin restoring selected data without deleting other data from your device.
Part 3.2: Restore iCloud Backup Or Other Backups Made Via iPhone Backup & Restore
If you have taken a backup of your device data selectively through iPhone Data Backup & Restore tool or have downloaded iCloud backup then you can restore particular data types from these backups.
Step 1: Select an iCloud backup or particular data type’s backup and hit on “Next” button.
Step 2: Select one or several data types from the provided list that you want to restore. After that connect your device to your computer and select Preview & Restore/Directly Restore option.
Note: If the selected backup has only one file type then the data will be selected by itself.
If you select Preview & Restore option then go to Step 3 or if you select Directly Restore then leave Step 3 and directly go to Step 4.
Step 3: Once the scanning process ends, you can see the data to confirm that the data are what you want and then click on “Restore” button.
Step 4: Now, a pop up will appear, the program allows you two options. One is Merge and another is Replace. If you choose Merge option then it will mix appeared data with your device data. And if you select Replace option then the corresponding device data will be replaced by the backup data.
Step 5: The software will begin the restoring process. It will take some minutes depending on your data size. And during the whole process, make sure your device is connected. When the process gets completed, you can use your device’s data.
Note: You should not disconnect your device during the whole process.
